Day off today!!!! Woo. Well after doing a 15K that is.. And seat racing and pieces. Went and got a delicious breakfast, which consisted of chocolate chip pancakes, eggs and sausage! Also had my third bacon experience!! Still don’t know how I feel about it… Selection process is getting so long… Can’t wait until we know what boats we are in or of in any… Get to see...
hello home... princeton!
so i haven’t blogged in awhile.. oops.
things that have been a major change in my life:
1. i have left the mighty oklahoma and have moved my life to princeton, where i get to live in a theological seminary with no kitchen or any appliances to make food.. hello oatmeal for the rest of my life… SO HAPPY! miss you nevahhhh

I am going to list 5 things that I have recently fallen in love with:
1. extra long bandaids - perfect for covering nasty blisters on yo fingahs
2. lattes - from this gelato place called capo giro - literally they are so good i die, their gelato is pretty ah-mazing too
3. californication - perfect for watchin in between our 3 practices a day, literally its so addicting and i’m...

70 MPH winds!!! we had to move all our boats into the boathouse… hopefully it will hold against the wind!
had a great evening and dinner with MO/Finbar today. some nice men gave us their watermelon so that was pretty sweet and they had some solid vegetables at dinner which was legit..and then we got slurpees and sat on the grass and talked about...

its been a couple of days - ke$hla
ok so my last bloggy was from like last wednesday right?? So since then I have still yet to become a master of sculling, almost killed myself in a single, had a 2k test, rowed some more, visited the zoo, went home for da weekend, and rowed a little more.
Day 2 like my 3rd practice ever, they put me in a single and say we’re doing like 4x8minz… i have never really been in a single...
6K test day
that was my sunday.
more to come as for the blog.
maybe another strobe light storm tonight! oklahoma never stops surprising us here!
also had a casual 2 by 6K workout it was great… followed up with a 3 by 1500 in a piar! so much fun, especially when your steering does not work and you keep criss-crossing into the other people’s lanes..
having a 6K in general is against my...

Hey its K-La,
So sorry I have only made one lame post but I have been a little busy with the IRA and then coming home and immediately having to unpack all my stuff from school, wash it all, and then re-pack it all up for summer rowing in Philly!!
So to sum up georgetown’s lightweight womens performance at the IRA, it was a disappointing finish but we are all ready to really work next year...

The Adventures Begin!
Hello World!
This is the first post of this wonderful blog… Kayla and I are taking the rowing world by storm this summer. Everyone beware!
Lights are leaving tomorrow for the IRAs so everyone wish them the best of luck, our Heavies and our Lightweight men are also making an appearance there! Georgetown Rowing is going to do great!
